Last month brought me to Chicago to take part in the annual Association of American Geographers conference. The "Save the Clocktower!" panel (aka- The Geographies of Back to the Future 1885-2015) was a great success, spurred some excellent discussion, and was much more well attended than a last session on the last day (4pm on Saturday) than was expected. Standing room only!

I presented preliminary research, findings an argument from my contribution "A Western Narrative: Back to the Future Part III and the Landscape of 1880s America". Overall: a great panel, and some exciting news presented about a well-timed opportunity for publication.
